Wow. What to write now.

Not quite sure what to put here. It's been such a long time and so much as happened. I can't believe it's been almost two years since I came up with the idea to post this blog whilst finally writing my book. All that stopped for a long time for reasons no-one wants to hear about on hear. 

I finally managed to set up my computer in a good place for writing and have been    aiming to write ( or at the very least am sat at the pc thinking about my book ) for an hour a day.  

It is not the same book I started back then but that's to be expected as I'm not the same person I was then either and I thought it would be best to have a fresh start. 

I am loving writing if I could I would spend all day writing just to get it published faster but that is not an option as I have very very full days lately and manage a little bit of writing in the mornings ( if I wake up early enough) before the rest of the family gets up or for about half hour before I fall asleep either at the keyboard or drag myself off to bed. 

When I publish the book I will be doing it using Kindle Direct Publishing as it seems like an amazing way to publish it with easy to use tools to manage the process and not only that I really like the way Amazon uses the customer reviews on the pages of all their products so I feel it would be a great place to start, not only that most of my family have kindles so it would be nice to see the book on their store.  As a nice bonus with most other ebook stores people would have to sign up to get the book even if it were free whereas you have to admit there isn't that many people who use the net that don't already posses an Amazon account for one reason or another. 

My other reason for publishing with Amazons Kindle store is that like most other authors I like the idea of setting my own price. Not for greedy reason though, simply because in an ideal world my book will be the beginning of a series of books and because nobody has ever heard of me ( hence the moniker anunknownauthor ) I will be publishing the first book for free so people can get a feel of my writing and see what they think of the book and hopefully build up a but of a fan base whilst the second one is being written and I will be releasing that not for free but for a very cheap price then hopefully it'll be time for the third book to come out at a slightly higher price though nothing to extravagant as I don't want to alienate the original fan base ( here's hoping at least). 

Introducing Me and My Unknown Blog.

Hello World (albeit a very small one right now but fear not as this blog matures our readership will grow)

I am An Unknown Author, seriously that is my name at least for now until my first book is released which I might add is aptly named My Unknown Book. Well, for the foreseeable future it is at least.

There is a reason I am going by the name of An Unknown Author or anunknownauthor depending on what sites you are seeing me on.  Probably nothing like the weird and wonderful scenarios you are imagining now.

Would you like to keep the mystery and in turn your imagination alive or would you like to know the reasoning behind it just let me know via the comments and I shall tally up the numbers for and against and if it is the later I will publish it in my next blog post.

As for the name of the book as you have probably already guessed 'My Unknown Book' is the working title but I do actually have the name of the book or at least what I imagine the book will be called but who knows what the future may bring. I may have a revelation during one of these ridiculously early hours I keep seeing each morning that I am putting to good use but whatever happens I will not be unveiling the title until every other aspect of the book is complete .

My real reason for this blog is to document my journey from the very first paragraph of plot notes from My Unknown Book  right up up until its final release but also to get a feel of the publics opinion, not just of myself but of the ideas that I will be posting along our journey.
